How to transpose piano music to trumpet?
I know how to transpose it, the trumpet notes are one up.
I dont get what key it becomes though. The piano music has a B flat (F major?), so then would the trumpet be in the key of G major (an F sharp)?
Also, if theres 4 flats in the piano part, then for the trumpet part there would be 2?
Write every note a whole step higher. Yes, Ab for piano would be Bb for trumpet.
