Tenor Bari

Which saxaphone would be easier to play, tenor, alto or bari? I am swiching from a bass clef instrument?

I heard that when playing scales some saxes have to go a step up or down and I originally play a concert Bb instrument.
So I was wondering which would be easier to swich to(not considering actual skill level)?
Also, I can't read in treble clef

The tenor or alto are always the easiest of any saxophone to start on. The bari has a lot of issues with the big wide open embouchure that most beginners have a hard time taking on. As for coming from a bass clef instrument, it makes no difference. They all read in treble clef so it doesn't matter, you still have to learn a new clef. It also doesn't matter if you played a Bb instrument previously, you won't notice the difference in key of the instrument. Sure, you'll know the letters of the concert Bb scale are the same on the tenor, but does knowing the letters of the notes really help with the scale? Whatever you choose, get a private lesson teacher. There are too many bad habits beginners teach themselves when they start on a new instrument that will hold them back later if they want to get to an advanced level.

Luciano Pavarotti in Recital - Bari, Italy 1984

$16.95

Anything Luciano Pavarotti does will appeal to hordes of collectors, but this rather uneven recital from 1984 is not one of his most dazzling efforts. The problem is hard to pin down, but he seems fatigued or depressed at the beginning of the program, particularly in the 18th-century arias, a tradition in Italian recitals but one that he wisely abandoned later in his career. The accompaniment...
