Telecaster Neck

Restringing/ adjusting neck on telecaster?

I have recently been given a stringless squire telecaster (its one that is strung via the string saddle and not through the back) by a friend and am having some trouble with it. I think the neck has bowed slightly from the prolonged absence of string tension. I figured this from when i re-strung it and noticed the strings were hovering ever so slightly too high off the fret board. Also the strings physically touch the bottom pickup.

tighten the truss rod and adjust the pickup height and bridge saddles, if you cba just take it to a guitar shop, they should set it up for around £10
