When I use electric brush and brush certain part of my gum thats near the teeth and gumline, it feels abit painful and the gum looks red. is it normal? and is it normal to have some kind of the white colour thingy near the gum line, the brush doesnt really seems to get rid of that.
I have never had a dentist to reccomend an electric tooth brush. The white that you see may be too hard to simply brush off. It could be an indication of an infection which needs to be seen by a dentist, especially if your gums look a bit puffy. By all means see a good dentist and have it treated. You need to floss after eating to keep an infection from forming. Have your teeth cleaned on a regular basis, it really helps. The dentist can also tell you which tooth bush to use. Mine told me to use a soft bristle so as not to actually brush away some of my gum tissue. After your cleaning they usually give you a kit to use that is best for your teeth and gums. A gum infection can also show up on an x ray. It is also cheaper to keep your teeth cleaned. Just check out some prices on cosmetic dentistry. It is not cheap so just make a habit out of keeping your teeth cleaned.
