Fender P bass neck replacement?
I have a dilemma about the guitar I want, I want to get a precision bass that looks like the 50's models that have the pickguard like the telecaster has on it. I found a squier model that has the body shape i want but i want a fender neck and pickups on it, is it possible to buy a fender p-bass neck (with the logo) to put on the squier body? I really wanted an original 50's p bass but fender doesnt make them in blue like the squier model does..

This question if better answered by Fender. They are not difficult to communicate with, just give them a call. I know for a fact that they will make you the exact guitar you want in the color you want. That is what they do in their Custom shop. So, why try to Jerry rig a Squire?
