What bass should I get?
I need some advice buying a bass. I will probably end up buying the bass on ebay for price's sake.
I can not decide between a Warwick Thumb bass (if I find a great deal), Warwick Corvette, MusicMan Stingray, or MusicMan Sterling.
I (try to) play mostly funk, with a lot of slapping. I want a bass with character. I also have relatively small hands, or at least they are not huge. Low action also means a lot to me.
Any suggestions? Which one should I get?
Are there any basses I'm missing?
