Can i change the way my guitar tunes with Buzz Feiten?

what i mean is that if my guitar gets out of tune quickly, can i change equipment like the saddle or bridge to make it stay in tune better? and what exactly does buzz feiten do? will it change the way i play? and does anyone have recomandations for a Beginner Guitar? thanks.

To stop your guitar from going out of tune quickly is very easy.

First, look at your tuners (aka machine heads). On the end of the knob, you will find a small screw. Simply turn it to right until the turning resistence is harder, but where you want. You should do this when your guitar is strung and at correct tension (otherwise the "feel" will be different when you do string it).

If you don't have a screw at the end of each of the knobs, there are couple other things you can do.
1) Replace the tuning heads. -This can cost anywhere from $60 to a couple hundered.

2) Install a locking nut system. -These work like clamps: they clamp the string down to the nut and keeps the string from sliding over it and going out of tune.

The problem, however, might just come from improper string replacement and tuning.

-When your restring your guitar, your strings tend to strech out of tune.
-To fix this: When stringing your guitar, be sure to "stretch" your strings. to do this, tune each string one full step up (two half steps). Then grasp the string with both hands. Push the string with both your thumbs (like you are trying to break a twig). Repeat the procedure over the length of the string and each string.

You might also be tuning incorrectly. When tuning to a specific pitch you need to tune under the desired note, then slowly up to it. Doing this prevents unequal tension on each side of the nut which will help with your problem.

Also, a bit of lubricant on the nut can do wonders. I prefer to use a high quality silicone lube, but WD40 can work too. This will let the strings slide easily over the nut, again, preventing (and actually abolishing) unequal tension. Note: don't do this unless you have a plastic or metal nut. This will ruin hardwood, bone, or ceramic nuts.

If you still have absolutely no idea how to fix your guitar, take it in to your local guitar shop. A word of advise: the older the employee, usually, the more they know about guitars.
