MIM Fender Strat vs Squier standard strat?
So i got offered a trade for my squier standard strat and my line six spider 3 15 (strat is stock) for a MIM strat everything stock except a seymour duncan hot rail in the bridge.
yay or nay?

If the Fender Standard is in good shape, I would take that trade in an instant.
While your Squier Standard is a decent guitar, the MIM Standard is a lot better. Your Squier used will sell for $150. A used MIM Strat will sell for $300. Your Line 6 Spider is only a 15 watt practice amp and will sell for $75 or less used. So I would take that deal in a heartbeat.
I would also look for a used Spider 30 watt or 75 watt 1x12. The 12 inch speaker has a richer fuller sound. You can get one used for less than a new 15 watt Spider sellls for.
