Lipstick: Tips to Picking Your Shade
Lipstick as a power all to its own. It’s a well known that fact that most men feel red lipstick is just downright sexy! Not only is red lipstick color sexy, doing the totally opposite and pair up a pale lipstick color with smoky eyes makeup and you are a force to be hold! To get away with wearing a bold lipstick color one must always play down the rest of your makeup.
The truth is any color lipstick is amazing on you if you apply it correctly and making sure you are not wearing the wrong color for your skin tone. The number one tip is you must remember you must wear either bold lipstick with minimal eye makeup or smoky eyes with a nude lipstick or just lip gloss. But not both at the same time! It just makes you look overdone and takes away from your appeal.
Did you know the right shade of lipstick can make your entire face look brighter, clearer and more radiant? Pick the wrong shade and it will you look too pale and washed out.
How do you pick the right shade of lipstick?
The best way is to base the lipstick color by your skin tone. Here are a few tips for picking your everyday lipstick shade.
Fair Skin: This skin tone looks best flattered by pale pinks and berries. This does not mean frosty shades of pink either. Wear a pink close to the same shade as your lips to really stand out.
Medium and Olive Skin: This skin tone looks their prettiest in shades of apricots, beiges, and bronzy nudes. Again try wearing a shade closes to your own lips.
Dark Skin Tones: This skin tone is really complemented by mauves, sheer reds and berries.
All skin tones need to stay away from frosty shades of any color because it will just wash your face out as well as out-date you. Those shades went out in the 80’s and need to stay there!

Take a look in your jewelry box, if you love silver, chances you are have cool-undertones to your skin. Which means you should be looking into lipstick colors with more of a silvery-blue undertones. The idea is these shades of lipstick help off set any yellow your teeth may have from age and it makes them seem brighter and whiter! If you are a lover of gold jewelry its very likely you have warm-based under-tones to your skin. Daytime lipstick shades are not the same as what you would wear out when going on a date. How can I pick/strum faster on my guitar?
I am sort of a beginner at guitar, and I use medium picks. I am trying to learn songs by Killswitch Engage and Blink-182, but I can't seem to down-pick/strum fast enough.
Are there exercises or warm-ups I should be doing?
Any tips would be great!!
I find that medium picks are worse for playing quickly. I tried out some Dunlop Jazz III picks a year or so ago and I am never going to switch to another pick again. They take some time to getting used to because of their small size but I find it easier to play with them.
If you want to pick fast, you need to first take it a bit slower with a metronome. Set a metronome at the fastest you can play accurately and in time and continue to practice at that speed until you can go faster. It's very effective and will help you greatly in the long run. If it is single notes that you are trying to play faster you should always practice alternate picking. Being able to alternate pick quickly will come in handy when you start to learn fast solos.
If it is chords that you need to strum faster, you can use up strokes on them as well. Just do the same thing with a metronome and you will get faster at it.

How to Pick a Hair Color for You
Here is a quick review of how to pick a hair color for you. When dyeing your hair you have to consider the following two issues: Eye colour and: Skin tone. Read on for the basic guidelines to determine if you are in the warm or cool category.
If you are in the warm category your eyes will be golden brown, green, green blue or turquoise, hazel with gold or brown flecks. Your skin tone would fall into one of the following areas brown with pink undertones, brown with golden undertones, pale with peach or gold undertones, freckled or ruddy.
The best colors for your hair if you are in the warm category would be as follows; dark, warm browns, chestnuts, rich golden browns and auburn, warm gold and red highlights, and golden blond tones. For highlights go with golden blondes, copper streaks, golden brown.
You would be considered in the cool category if your eyes are deep brown, black-brown, gray blue or dark blue or hazel and your skin tone would be very dark brown, true olive (Asians and Latinos), medium with no color in cheeks, medium with faint pink cheeks, medium with golden undertones, pale with no color in cheeks.
Women in the cool category should lean towards shinny blacks, cool ash browns, cool blondes in shades ranging from mink to platinum and white. For highlights go with wheat, honey, taupe or ash shades.
Why is it important to pick the right hair color for you? While a correctly chosen hair colour can turn you into a bombshell the wrong colour could exaggerate some of your worst qualities. The wrong colour could bring out the bags under your eyes, give you a tired or haggard look, show small veins or just overall give you an unhealthily pale look. So take a few minutes and look in the mirror, hold some different colors of t-shirts up to your face to see what tones they bring out in your skin.
Once you think you have the color right make sure you try out lot's of outfit in different colors to find out which pieces in your wardrode match you new color best. Remember an honest friend can be invaluable times like this. What you think and what the rest of the world might think of your hair color might be a little off so ask your friends for their opinions.
