Ronald Jenkees

Early life

Jenkees began playing music at 4 years old, when he received a toy keyboard for Christmas as a gift. Using this keyboard, he learned simple melodies and played with friends. While still at a young age, he received a Yamaha PSR-500. He attempted piano lessons in the seventh grade, but these were unsuccessful. Jenkees discovered how to sequence and layer music using his Yamaha keyboard, and began playing hip hop music. He joined a marching band in high school, and despite being unable to read sheet music, the band director let Jenkees create his own keyboard parts and "jam out" in state competitions. The band director encouraged Jenkees to learn to read music, but he continued to play by ear. He is from Kentucky.

Musical career

Jenkees became enthusiastic about FL Studio after a friend introduced him to it. From about 2003, he began releasing beats and raps online under the name "Big Cheez". Under this name, he produced the 2005 album Straight Laced by Fish. In 2006, Jenkees started posting videos on YouTube to entertain people, but he later began posting music-related videos. Jenkees felt that the "goofiness" he showed helped him "not feel like such a show-off". One example would be the video in which Ronald shows people "How to snap your fingers the cool way". His videos tended to feature him wearing a hat and greeting his viewers with "Hello Youtubes". His videos gradually gained popularity, and saw a boom in popularity when Bill Simmons from ESPN.com advertised Jenkees and asked him to record his podcast theme. In 2007, Jenkees independently released his first studio album, Ronald Jenkees. In June 2009, Jenkees was featured on the STS9 album, "Peaceblaster: The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes," producing a remix of "Beyond Right Now".

On July 31, 2009, Jenkees announced via his Twitter account that he had released his second album, Disorganized Fun, on his website. It is currently available on the iTunes Store, in MP3 format and physical compact discs.

Style

Jenkees creates a variety of music ranging from techno to Rock and Roll using pianos, keyboards, and various PC-controlled electronic synthesizers. He also writes and produces rap. Due to Jenkees recent ascension into Internet popularity, it is difficult (and perhaps even irrevlevant) to identify his style in terms of conventional geographic or cultural reference points. His music (a post-modern collage of popular music since 1970) is well-matched with the diversity permitted by the medium (the Internet, particularly YouTube) he has used to reach his audience. His clever use of keyboard and synthesizer voices adds a variety of other instruments into his sound. For instance, in "Guitar Sound" from his second album "Disorganized Fun" the lead instrument is played on keyboard as usual, but convincingly mimics the sound of electric guitar. This produces a unique interpretation of the rock 'n' roll genre, but at around 3:15 of the same track, he switches to more electronic sounding voices and shifts the song into a techno or trance influenced rock opera. In some of his YouTube videos he employs a harmonica for his slower tempo songs.

Korg M3 73 Introduction: The M3 heralds the third generation of Korg Workstations. The M1 started it all, first appearing in 1988 to bring the world a new concept called the "music workstation." It went on to become the best selling workstation in history, and was further expanded and enhanced through the T and O1/W series. Trinity defined a new level of innovations including touch screen technology and configurable effects, and was the forbearer of the successful TRITON range of products. Now Korg Is Poised To Redefine The Workstation Category Once Again. The M3 features a number of innovations distilled from the flagship OASYS including the new EDS (Enhanced Definition Synthesis) sound generator derived from the HD-1 engine design, the advanced second-generation KARMA functionality, and the multi-purpose control surface. Adding innovations such as the new concept of "virtualized hardware" that allows an even closer integration with DAW systems, Drum Tracks which provide a instant groove to play along with, and the new "Korg Komponent System" concept that facilitates more flexible system construction, the M3 music workstation/sampler opens a new and exciting page in music making - it's the workstation that rightfully deserves to wear the "M" that started it all. Enhanced Definition Synthesis --- a new horizon of sound-making potential: The M3 features a newly developed "EDS" sound generating system based on a new chip design that was developed in parallel with the HD-1 engine from the flagship OASYS. It takes full advantage of the M3's 256 Mbytes of PCM source material which is a veritable "best of" from the OASYS. Using Korg's advanced voicing technology, the 1,028 multisamples, 1,606 drum samples, dual oscillators, four-level velocity switching/crossfading/layering, and stereo sampling allow for an enormous range of high-quality, detailed, and expressive sounds. The filter section, a vital part of the sound-creation process, lets you simultaneously use two resonant filters for each oscillator, and can be configured in series or parallel. Four filter types are provided: low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and band-reject. The amp section features a driver circuit that gives the sound a sense of edge and character, along with low boost to help shake the walls when needed. Integrated 3-band EQ allows tonal sculpting without needing to go to the effects section. Detailed envelope generators, abundant modulation routings, plus the all-new AMS Mixers for advanced processing all combine to provide a level of sound shaping far beyond previous possibilities. Effects: The all-important effect section provides up to five Insert effects, two Master effects, and one Total effect. In addition to great choruses, flangers, phasers, delays and reverbs, the 170 effect types include dynamic processing effects such as compressor and limiter, amp modeling and speaker simulation effects using Korg's proprietary "REMS" modeling technology, and evocative effects like

Korg M3 M The next coming of MThe M3 heralds the third generation of Korg Workstations. The M1 started it all, first appearing in 1988 to bring the world a new concept called the "music workstation." It went on to become the best selling workstation in history, and was further expanded and enhanced through the T and O1/W series. The same second-generation KARMA functionality featured on the OASYS, an all-new Drum Track function, the Open Sampling System, and a high-resolution16-track MIDI sequencer provide a new production environment that lets you seamlessly combine your inspirations into completed form. The color touch-view GUI ensures excellent operability, with the display also able to be used as an X-Y control. Eight dynamic pads and a multi-function control surface give you a high degree of control and expressive capability. Virtualized Hardware via a new Firewire functionality allows the M3 to be closely integrated into your DAW system. Korg Komponent System --- a new concept that lets you flexibly construct your system from hardware units. Simple, elegant, and warm design using a combination of contrasting materials. Choose from four models (61-key, 73-key, 88-key, or a sound module), with the 61 and 73 key versions premiering a newly-develop keyboard that feels great and increases both expression and control. How to make your own rap beats using a beat maker

MAKE RAP BEATS--------------------------

HOW TO CREATE A GOOD SOUNDING BEAT USING A BEAT MAKER - THIS IS EASIER THAN YOU THINKYour beat maker must have a easy access option for exporting your beats to mp3 and must contain many sounds for you to work with it. To determine whether your beat maker is living up to its guaranteed benefits, your beat maker should at least have the standard features that are readily available at your fingertips. The standard feature that your beat maker should include is a 16-track sequencer. Bottom line is that your beat maker should and must be able to do whatever you want it to do.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN RAP BEATS?The most important advice that I can give is that if you truly want to produce good music, you must understand what makes good music "good music". It is not that hard to create an OKAY sounding music track, but it is very hard to create tracks that ends up sounding like a professional beat.

SIMPLE STEPS IN MAKING A HIP HOP BEATYou have to layer your beat because layering is what what makes the beat great. Many websites will not accept your 320kbps beats since that file size is just too big. The most basic beat that you can make starts with either a 2 or even a 4 bar intro, a 16 bar verse, a 8 bar chorus, a 16 bar verse, and a 8 bars chorus which are common in Rap songs today. You have to layer your beat with some toms, cowbells, symbols, or layer your beat with any instrument that you want to use. You have to lay down the beat for starters and it is much easier for you to start with just the drums. Remember that the drums are one of the most important instruments when making a beat. If you chose a rap style artist, then think of a rap artist that you would want to create a beat for and by doing so, this will truly make your beat making experience a lot easier.

HOW TO MAKE HIP HOP BEATS USING HIP HOP BEATS MAKING SOFTWARE?You can experiment with your beats by simply mixing it with other sounds and by saving as a audio file. Good beats out there practically are sold for 10,000 up to 500,000 dollars.

TIPS ON HOW TO BUY INSTRUMENTAL BEATS SOFTWARE ONLINEIf you want to purchase a instrumental beat online, be sure that you listen to a sample beat before you shelve out any money. When buying a instrumental beat, if you're skeptical about anything at all, immediately contact the producer before you make your purchase. Do business with producers who give their contact information to you.

MAKE BEATS JUST LIKE A PROReading musical notes would be a plus too which will help you to become a great producer. A synth workstations basically mimics a piano keys which helps you to make your beats. There is a software tool named Fruit Loops and this is then used in making beats for your songs.

WHAT SOFTWARE TO USE IF YOU WANT TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN RAP BEATSThe Korg Triton Extreme workstation takes the Triton sound while giving it a fresh start thus making this adored by most Hip Hop producers. some of the best beat makers includes the Motif ES8 Yamaha Workstation, the Korg Triton Extreme, the Roland Fantom X6, the MPC Sampler and the Roland's MV8800.

THE BEST AND MOST POPULAR SOFTWARE ONLINETo describe the Sonic Producer product in one line, "The Sonic Pro is your one-stop studio". You can do almost anything with The Sonic Producer software.
