Acoustic Electric Guitars Can Make You a Star
Imagine yourself getting up in front of a small but appreciative audience at a local nightclub or coffee shop with one of your acoustic electric guitars plugged in and ready to play. You check your microphone and are introduced to the eager audience, made up of mostly your friends and relatives. Imagine yourself playing the first lines of "Ventura Highway" by America and everyone applauding in anticipation of the first verse, which they all know by heart of course. You finish strongly to a wild and enthusiastic ovation, perhaps even a bit over the top but hey, these are your buddies and co-workers and fellow musicians and they want to support you. Sounds like fun, right? This is a very do-able scenario since in just about any city or town there are several "Open Mic" nights where you can sign up and play for at least one or two songs and sometimes much more.
You do need to have the right equipment however and it helps to have one or two of the many great acoustic electric guitars that are out on the market. Many music aficionados prefer the sweet sounds of a Taylor or a finely tuned Takamine, both acoustic electric guitars, but most will tell you that nothing beats the sound of a Gibson J-45. Gibson started making acoustic electric guitars back in 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Gibson J-45 acoustic electric guitars are now made at the Gibson acoustic guitar factory in Bozeman, Montana by the finest luthiers in the world. Bozeman has some of the finest atmospheric conditions to work with the fine woods that are needed to make these gorgeous instruments.
Gibson J-45 acoustic electric guitars were first invented in 1942. This great guitar has been nicknamed "The Workhorse" because of its fine workmanship and durability. This is the classic "dreadnaught" design with round shoulders and deep hollow body. Gibson J-45 acoustic electric guitars are built with a solid spruce top and mahogany sides and back. The workmanship and artisanship of these fine guitars ranks them with the very finest acoustic electric guitars ever produced.
Gibson also has other models of acoustic electric guitars including the Hummingbird, the Songwriter, the J-200, the Blues King, and the AJ 500-R. All of these finely crafted instruments are used by great popular musicians all over the world. The deep and wonderful tones that they emit are valued highly among the world's top songwriters and singers.
You too can own one of these fine instruments and go play at your local open mic night. A Gibson J-45 will set you back around $3000 for a new one, but you can also find some bargains on used equipment on ebay.com. Don't settle for less. Make sure you get the very best that you can afford. Your audience will definitely thank you for the gesture and you will surely fall madly in love with your new Gibson J-45, one of the greatest acoustic electric guitars ever made, bar none.

Which guitar should I get?

Whether or not it comes with a case or any extras doesn't matter. Just which guitar is better for people who know about guitars. Are they pretty much the same?
Thanks (:
I play guitar, and in my opinion, neither is really better. Personally, if i were you, i would go to MusiciansFriend.com, SamAsh.com, GuitarCenter.com, Sweetwater.com, or AmericanMusical.com to look for guitars. I don't really know your price range, but look for Fender (not starcaster, maybe squier, it depends), Ibanez (Ibanez make very good, and quality acoustic, and electric guitars), Yamaha, Martin, Dean, and Epiphone. They are all good, but go try them out and see which one feels good on you, because nothing sucks more than spending money on something you don't like.
