Later, when they are older, you might want to add a computer desk and chair. Or, if you were not able to purchase all the pieces you want the first time, you would be able to add more as you desire.

It is also important when selecting children's furniture to notice any safety hazards. Some toy boxes have lids that are heavy and do not have a way to hold them up. Check these carefully because harmful accidents have occurred. If you see any other possible hazards look carefully before buying.

Do you think child size grocery carts are from the devil?

I let my 2 and 5 year old push one each the other day...and I thought I might have to be wheeled to the insane asylum before the shopping trip ended. Plus I got shark bit twice by my 2 year old son. No fun.
shark bite is when the cart bumps into the back of your heels.

My son uses the ones at Trader Joe's to:
1. Ram other carts.
2. Pick up a bunch of things I don't normally let him have and then he whines when I tell him no.
3. Run into my legs.

Yeah, I prefer to just not bring him when I shop in there.

The other ones I don't like are the giant car carts. The actual cart part is smaller and the car part adds on a giant section to maneuver through the store. Not to mention that they're always filthy.
