Washbrook Music Shows A Perfect Pitch Method To Bend Strings On Your Electric
Washbrook Music Shows A Perfect Pitch Method To Bend Strings On Your Electric
The first way to practice and achieve an accurate bend is to bend the electric guitar string one tone. It is great for expression and playing bends when playing your rock and blues scales.
One tone is two 2 frets, or we can say 2 semi tones. Put your 3rd finger on the 3rd string 9th fret. This is the note E. Play this note on the 9th fret, 3rd sting first to get your ear hearing the exact pitch. Then move your 3rd finger to the 3rd string 7th fret, and bend the string up one full tone to reach the E note. The note you just played on the 9th fret. It is as easy as that. It only took a few sentences to explain.
It is harder than that. You have to make sure you bend the 3rd string to the 9th fret correctly to sound a perfect E note in pitch. This is done with great practise. Dont worrry dig in and keep bending even if it is sharp or flat, but make sure you sample the E note on the 9th fret first so you know the tone you have to match.
Soon you will bend any pitch you want at a moments notice.
The next step is to learn to bend half tones. This is when you bend a string one fret up.It is called a semi tone. Again the steps are exactly the same except your bending up a semi tone, one fret, and not a full tone, two frets. You will play the 8th fret 3rd string, 3rd finger which is D# or Eb (They call that enharmonic equivalence). Sound it well for your ear to remember. Now play the 7th fret, 3rd string, 3rd finger up one fret. You will be bending it up to the sound of D# or Eb. Now it may be sharp or a little flat. The more you do it you will right away will be able to identify the correct or incorrect pitch of the bend.
The next thing to improve would be your vibrato and tremolo on the bends of the fretted notes. Get in touch with me I have a whole lesson on this. Look up Larry Carlton he has a great lesson on this topicl. I took some of his ideas and added them to mine. I know you will find it awesome if you see my video on this. This is the real stuff, that separates the real players from the average players.
You will hear so many blues guitar players find such cool ways to bend after they learn the basics. I have explained basics for whole tone bends and half tone bends. They sound great with blues scales, blues licks, blues solos.

Can i keep a Jaguar Cichlid with a Jack Dempsey, a Tiger Oscar and 2 Electric Blues?
Oscar: 4 inches
JD: 5 inches
Electric Blues: both 3 inches
Jaguar cichlid: 5 or 6 inches.
All in a 55 gallon.
You're outlook is only based on the current sizes. If we blind ourselves to potential sizes, and water needs since you have an African listed in there, as well as temperments, sure you can do that. If you want to limit your insight and outlook on the bigger picture, by all means do it. I have a strong feeling, you're just waiting for that one dissenting person to post how proudly they pulled such a ludicrous stocking off and you'll take it and run with it so you can tell us all how stupid we are.
If you want a common sense answer, then no you can't and shouldn't. A: the final sizes of these fish way by far outgrow the 55, you aren't listing that you have a bigger tank, and if you did, then that's where they should be going. B: The temperments of a Jack Dempsey is rule the tank, don't get along with anyone and a Jaguar sure isn't going to be Mr. Rodgers with either the JD's or Oscars. Too much of an incompatible mix on temperments in a space too small. C: You just don't mix Africans and South Americans. Some people have, I've even done it, but it's not something you should do. Too much of a water chemistry need difference and if it were meant to be done, you'd find African Cichlids in South American, in the natural waters, you don't for a reason.

The Sea is Not Blue - Improving your Creative Writing Skills
To write this, I am using 'Microsoft Word'. If I want to chose a font colour I have a choice of ten shades of grey in the 'standard colours' and twelve further options if I select 'more colours' making twenty two shades. That's merely the standard menu and doesn't account for the infinite selection on the 'custom menu'. And that's just for grey. The human eye can distinguish all these nuances of colour and light. Although names may not exist for all these shades, we see them and often have the need or the opportunity to describe them.
Not only can we distinguish all these shades but we are blessed with a language that having evolved from so many others offers us a limitless array of choices to describe them.
Had Jacob's Mum made him a coat of red and blue and green and yellow we may never have heard about it but according to the lyrics of 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ', it was,
When a small child first paints a landscape the sea is just blue and blue is the only word they have to describe it; an artist's depiction of the sea is multi-tonal.
The sea is not blue it is indigo, cornflower, ultramarine, curacao, periwinkle, cobalt, forget me not, steel blue, topaz, peacock, powder blue, gentian blue, aquamarine, azure, cerulean blue, electric blue, midnight blue, navy, robin's egg, royal blue, sapphire, sky blue, steel blue, aqua, cyan, cornflower, denim, turquoise, Persian blue, powder blue, Prussian blue…
An author is a word artist so when writing, remember to think carefully about expressing your ideas in a similar way, make each and every word count.
"red, yellow, green, brown, scarlet, black, ochre, peach, ruby, olive, violet, fawn, lilac, gold, chocolate, mauve, cream, crimson, silver, rose, azure, lemon, russet, grey, purple, white, pink, orange, red, yellow, green, brown, scarlet, black, ochre, peach, ruby , olive, violet, fawn, lilac, gold, chocolate, mauve, cream, crimson, silver, rose, azure, lemon, russet, grey, purple, white, pink, orange and blue." And that's why generations schoolchildren will now remember the story about Jacob's coat.
