What's your favorite cheap acoustic guitar ($200-500)?
So...
I've been playing guitar for about 7 months now. It's fun!
I went to the music store the other day, and they told me to try out whatever. I was really impressed with the beautiful, ringing, warm tone of the Godin children companies, Seagull and Art & Lutherie. I tried an Ibanez and the bright tone I got out of it wasn't bad, but not really what I was looking for. Before I knew it, I had to leave. I didn't get to try out a ton of models :/
I've decided that, for my 18th birthday in October, I'm gonna get a new guitar. Maybe before then, I don't know.
I'm looking mostly at models that range from $200-350, but I'll spring an extra $150 if there's an INCREDIBLE leap in quality for a small leap in money. I'm planning on holding onto this guitar for a while, after all.
So what are your recommendations?
look into recording king and blueridge.
at the $200 to $500 range, american mades are out of the question. so if youre buying an asian made guitar anyway, why not buy one with all solid wood?
these 2 brands are lesser known and not found on musicians friend or guitar center, but when it comes to asian made, theyre cream of the crop.
